Some man that doesn't exist

Fri Apr 11, 2008, 4:56 PM
So, there is this man I have been seeing in my dreams for quite sometime. He showed up first in October 2006, in a dream where I was shot and died. I don't know why he was there, he just was. But since then, he keeps coming back to talk to me and love me =/ . And in more recent dreams we're dating/married. The thing is he really would not be my type, because in High School he was a prep, even though he had long hair. He is really beautiful, and I've gotten to know him so well. I know almost everything about him but his name. He's in his mid-twenties and has long brown hair, down to his shoulders, dyed black. His eyes are brown, and his skin pale. He looks great in suits, and has a great paying job. He's 5'10" and in good shape. I love the sound of his voice in my dreams, and he's really gentle. In one of my dreams, I even dyed my hair a golden blonde for him, and let my hair be curly. Because he likes pale blonde girls with curly hair... And, I think I'm falling in love with him... But the thing is he doesn't exist. But the last few nights he hasn't been in any of my dreams, and I miss him, and I was to see him again. Do you think he could be dead in my dreams? And I know I sound like a sicko and weirdo, but I just don't understand this. Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

Damn I feel like such a weirdo for posting this. I might as well ask this too. Has anyone else had an expirience with ghosts? Once, One at Hampton Court grabbed my pantleg and I fell over, and looked back to see nothing could have tripped me. Then Something that wasn't there grabbed my feet at this middle school in the city. And then when i was visiting the middle school one evening i heard a disembodied voice say "hey" anyone expirience things like that either? O, and I also have visions of the future sometime, and I can see ghosts... I must sound crazy, but sometimes I really can see things no one else can...harrharr now i sound crazy...
bye for now!

You know, you're really not that crazy. Unfortunately, I've never really experienced ghosts, but I have seen some apparations. Oh, and about the whole dream thing, it's your dream. You can decide what happened to him, or what didn't.

XD ghosts scare me, and I don't like them. Yeah, I think the dream thing weirds me out more than the ghosts, because it's so creepy that I've made up an imaginary man thats not real XDDDD

There's this guy I have too. Except, it's not in my dreams. I keep on trying to get him to appear there. I know his name. His first name is Simon. I can't remember his middle &/or last name. I think it's Fuller. I know that his hair is a sort of blondish and he likes to wear this suit that's this olive color. I think he smokes too. But I've actually FELT him. Like, he's touched me. I remember once I was doing something and reading something, he grabbed my shoulder and jerked it back quickly and, this is going to sound weirder, but I swear I heard a voice in my head "Be careful, something bad is coming soon." That was the weekend my cat died...

He hasn't returned since then...
Which makes me wonder if Simon was the soul or something of my cat...
Maybe I'll try to call for him tonight...
I miss him...

...he just told me that his mother is Irish and his father is German.

Another thing, he did give me a title for himself though. He called himself my Spirit Guide. I think it all started when I felt a spirit suddenly pass through me once. It was a very creepy experience....

Oh, Simon, please come back...

Maybe it's the pills... =/

I don't know if I've seen ghosts... I *have* seen shadows shift in my house and I do hear voices thst sound like they are calling my name... Also, I'm sure I've seen the ghost of my neighbour... But I was with him in his last seconds....

As far as having dreams about people who keep appearing, I have 'em too, about a girl who I am supposedly going to marry, but I can never see her face, it's encased in shadows...

Hey Valerie I have a book about how talk about dreams.

You dream about an unknown man who is really soft with you, I have see than if a girl dream about that that means you will feel better because you will feel so protected =D

And don't underestimate the truth of that science I'm really serious about the explanation of dreams :)

The man in your dreams is clearly nonexistent, I'm sure you realize, so you must treat him so, not worry if he has died. I wouldn't call you crazy, because I remember when I had feelings for Akira (which you immediately reminded me of when I started scrolling over this post), and sometimes people just get dramatic and dreamy. But, I would really consider not letting yourself have feelings for him, because as I said, he's a figment of your brain and not to be taken seriously.

Other than that, I can't think of what to suggest! For me, my man became my story character and really fleshed himself out, but that doesn't have to happen for everyone.

As for ghosts....*shakes head* Lots of things like what you described are just misunderstandings of your environment. You're probably not going to listen to me because you have the experience here, and unexplained points towards 'ghost'. But you'd be surprised how much internal and external stimuli make a person think something supernatural is going on, and not understanding makes someone scared. But I bet there was no ghost.

In short, we all have very active complex brains with wild imaginations. It's fine to enjoy the weird things we experience, but REMEMBER, always, that it's smarter to go on with life knowing they aren't real without solid scientific proof, no matter how much we want them to be.

that's really weird. i really haven't experienced anything like that. maybe some part of you yearns for someone to be able to spend the rest of your life with and your imagination conjures something up.

thanks =] you are probably the only voice of reason here, and since you expirienced something similar, it makes me feel good to know I'm not alone with this. haha
